Artist Profile

Artists, litterateurs , architectures contribute a lot in fabricating a firm culture through their art work.Since the ancient times, paintings have always played a prestigious role in revealing human emotions.Swarn Barnala opted the art of painting that is not only challenging but also very esteem. He didn’t only chose the conspicuous art of painting rather he dedicated yeaars of his life to achieve perfection in it.
Swarn Barnala was born in Kumbharwaal district Barnala, Punjab in North India. He owned an art studio in Barnala where he used to portray people with his brush. He did his Masters of Arts from Punjabi University, Patiala.
He worked under Punjab’s one of the famous painter named Jagdeep Garcha and was strongly influenced by his teacher named Dr. Saroj Chaman. He has worked as an art instructor in DAV College Chandigarh in 2005 to 2007. His art work has been used as cover pages for many books, web pages, Audio Cassettes and Indian magazines.  
He came to Australia in 2007 and is presently living in Harris Park, Sydney. He actively gets involved in all Punjabi cultural and literary activities in Sydney. Even after the back breaking and burdensome life in Sydney,
He kept his artwork alive by portraying many world famous artists. He is not only a painter but also a choreographer and a cultural promoter. Recently, he held an exhibition in Adelaide that displayed a series of paintings based on description of “Mool Mantar” by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Japuji Sahib.
